Since 2005, Jason Richardson has been leading Idaho students on international educational tours. When he took his first group of students to Mexico, he was excited to enjoy the spicy food and Spanish architecture. Somehow, they found themselves on an 80-foot yacht comparing the American and Mexican Constitutions after snorkeling with sea lions for a couple hours. Jason was hooked by the students’ academic curiosity and their love of adventure.
Now Jason leads free (optional) evening classes each month from his home in Rigby, Idaho to help students learn in-depth about their country as a precursor to traveling. Having taught in public schools and private schools, he uses his wide range of teaching experience to make learning fun for students and helping them respect and value other cultures and ways of thinking.
Jason has led educational student tours across the globe, including to England, Scotland, Thailand, Switzerland, Israel, Greece, Egypt, Ecuador, Mexico, France, Italy, Wales, and LDS US Church History Tours. Let Outbound Tours help your students go from Outbound to college-bound as they foster independence and develop a deeper appreciation for history, language, culture, people, and learning.
At Outbound Tours, we ensure that students also experience local culture found outside of museums and cathedrals. Want to learn traditional folk dancing in Mexico, or do a service activity helping native Ecuadorans on their farms? Come with us and unlock your love of new cultures and learning.
We also offer adult tours on a per-request basis. Please message us via our contact page for more information.
